Job Description Compliance Inspector The Compliance Inspector plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings. This role also may administer architectural review process. What do we offer? Job Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person and electronically. Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues. Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries. Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards. Receive owner architectural submittals. Review submittals for accuracy in accordance to the association architectural guidelines. Attend the architectural review meeting with the community manager. Follow up with any committee direction. Complete the meeting minutes and owner letters. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms. Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.) Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements. Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements. Knowledge of architectural plans and/or drawings at a proficient level. Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level. Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.). Professional customer service skills. Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player. Time management and time critical prioritization skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED Required Associates Degree Preferred 0 - 3 years of directly related or closely related experience Licenses and Certifications Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to provide proof of a valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance. Working Conditions Typical office environment, occasional outside environment exposure while conducting compliance inspection.
