2963041325-2 Apply for this job now Job Description SAAB is seeking an Import Analyst to manage and optimize global inbound flows for advanced defense and security products. You will oversee end-to-end import processes, including documentation, HTS classification, and customs compliance (ITAR/EAR), ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries to our manufacturing operations. Partner with logistics, procurement, engineering, and compliance teams to resolve import issues, analyze data, and drive process improvements. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end import processes for materials and components into manufacturing sites Prepare, review, and maintain import and customs documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance Classify goods using HTS and apply correct Incoterms and duty rates Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery Monitor and ensure compliance with global trade regulations including ITAR/EAR and local customs laws Analyze import costs, lead times, and risks; recommend process and cost improvements Resolve import delays, discrepancies, and non-compliance issues Support internal audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives in import operations Required Skills Import/export documentation Customs compliance (ITAR/EAR) HTS classification Incoterms ERP systems (e.g., SAP) Data analysis and reporting Trade regulations knowledge Logistics coordination Advanced Excel Risk and audit management
