Carrier Administration Representative | Columbus, Ohio I'm currently recruiting for a great opportunity with a growing logistics organization in the Columbus area. This is a full-time, 100% on-site position for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records and meeting important deadlines. In this role, you will support freight claims, carrier administration, compliance, and onboarding . You'll work closely with carriers, customers, and internal operations teams to investigate shipment issues, gather and maintain documentation, track claims, and help ensure carriers meet required compliance standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Follow the Logistics process for vetting carriers. Customer and carrier communication etiquette is always a top priority. Vet carriers for appropriate insurance levels and coverage. Thoroughly review specific carrier accolades/certificates. Compile and organize all carrier documentation in the internal system and create carrier profiles. Regularly run reports to validate that we have the most up-to-date carrier information in the system. Resolve problems, including identifying issues, thinking critically to determine the best course of action, and implementing solutions. Assist Marketing in the management of the reputation of the brand on all industry-related review sites to ensure that the Logistics reputation is not compromised. Develop carrier compliance reports by issuing and reviewing service failures. Actively manage the company's carrier compliance program. Multitask and provide customer service to all carrier partners. Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

A high school diploma or GED; an Associate or Bachelor's degree is required Experience in claims, insurance, customer service, logistics, or a related field preferred Strong organizational and clerical skills Excellent written and verbal communication Strong attention to detail and accuracy The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly A dependable, professional, and team-oriented approach This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in logistics, claims, carrier compliance, or operations with a rapidly growing organization.
