Cybersecurity Analyst - OT Compliance - Expert/Senior

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst - OT Compliance (Expert/Senior) for a Contract job with a client in Madison, OH . The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Operational Technology (OT) Security, Cybersecurity Compliance, and Industrial Control Systems (ICS/SCADA), along with expertise in conducting cybersecurity assessments and gap analyses against industry-standard frameworks.
Rate Range:
$63/hour to $70/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Cybersecurity Analyst - OT Compliance job responsibilities include: Conduct cybersecurity gap assessments of Operational Technology (OT), ICS, and SCADA environments against established compliance frameworks and standards. Evaluate current-state OT systems, policies, procedures, and technical controls to identify security weaknesses, deficiencies, and compliance gaps. Perform structured interviews with system owners, process owners, and stakeholders to collect compliance evidence and validate control implementation. Review system configurations, technical documentation, network architectures, and security controls to assess effectiveness and compliance. Develop executive-ready assessment reports outlining findings, risk ratings, compliance gaps, and prioritized remediation recommendations. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to validate assessment results and develop practical remediation strategies within operational constraints. Support compliance initiatives aligned with industry frameworks including
IEC 62443, NIST
CSF, and
NIST SP 800-82
. Assist with remediation planning, risk tracking, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement efforts across OT security programs.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 3+ years of cybersecurity experience. 2+ years of experience supporting: Operational Technology (OT) Industrial Control Systems (ICS) SCADA Environments Strong expertise in: OT Cybersecurity, Compliance Assessments, Gap Analysis, Risk Management, Security Audits, Regulatory Compliance.
Strong knowledge of:
IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, NIST
Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), Industrial Security Standards Experience conducting security assessments and compliance reviews within critical infrastructure environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within the Oil & Gas , Energy, Utilities, or Critical Infrastructure industries. Hands-on experience leading OT cybersecurity assessment programs aligned with IEC 62443 or
NIST CSF
frameworks.
Knowledge of:
Purdue Model Architecture Network Segmentation Industrial Network Security Experience developing remediation roadmaps and tracking risk reduction initiatives across OT environments. Familiarity with OT cybersecurity technologies including: Asset Discovery Tools, Network Monitoring Solutions, Industrial Firewalls, Endpoint Protection Platforms Professional certifications such as:
GICSP, CISSP, CISM

Pay Details:
