• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security
• Must have a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• 10 years' experience in Cyber Security
• Experience in open-source project security vulnerabilities
• Experience in cryptography
• Experience in understanding latest technologies, security issues, and protocols
• Experience in penetration testing and security audits and related documentation

CERTIFICATIONS

• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III certification and compliance upon hire

CISSP JOB DUTIES

• Define Security best practices, measures, and mechanisms at levels of the cloud and/or virtual environment
• Collaborate with teams to find solutions that minimize security exposure to the ecosystem
• Expert in providing security insights throughout design, development, and launch
• Thoroughly document security practices
• Point of contact for security audits
• Periodically lead security audits of existing software, services, and design and implement corrective actions
• Develop threat models and associated security architectures, requirements, and design appropriate mitigations
