background checks Track professional licenses, continuing education (CEUs), and renewal deadlines Maintain CAQH ProView profiles and insurance credentialing records Assist with performance evaluations and compliance documentation Prepare reports and support regulatory and accreditation audits Work collaboratively with internal departments and insurance payers Maintain accurate, confidential records
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
Preferred:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field Previous credentialing, medical office, healthcare administration, or compliance experience Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM) Professional Development Opportunity Candidates who are not currently CPCS or CPMSM certified are encouraged to apply. Employees who are not certified at the time of hire will be expected to begin the certification process after one (1) year of employment with SHCMHC, provided they meet the eligibility requirements of the applicable certifying organization.
