Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our team. This position plays an important role in protecting the financial assets of the company while building strong relationships with our customers and internal management teams. The Credit Analyst will manage a portfolio of accounts receivable, evaluate customer creditworthiness, assist with collections, and help make sound credit decisions that support both our customers and the continued growth of the business. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, comfortable making decisions, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. As a Credit Analyst, you will: Manage a large portfolio of accounts receivable, including account review, customer communication, negotiation, and development of payment plans. Review credit applications and financial information to make recommendations regarding credit approval and establish appropriate credit limits, including six-figure limits. Monitor customer accounts and identify potential credit or collection concerns. Work with the Division Credit Manager and Profit Center Managers to determine appropriate collection strategies for delinquent accounts. Communicate directly with customers to resolve payment issues, disputes, and past-due balances. Escalate collection efforts when appropriate based on individual account circumstances. Assist the Division Credit Manager in protecting and enforcing CED's lien and bond rights on secured projects. Help determine when accounts should be placed on credit hold in collaboration with the Division Credit Manager and Profit Center Manager. Meet with customers when needed to establish and maintain strong business relationships. Prepare account status information, payment plans, reports, and other information for quarterly credit meetings. Review and assist with the execution of credit-related and legal documents on behalf of CED. Develop strong working relationships with 3E managers, customers, and other business partners. We are looking for someone who can balance financial responsibility with customer relationships . Successful candidates will be confident communicating with customers about difficult financial matters while remaining professional, fair, and solutions-focused. Minimum Qualifications Experience in credit and collections. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Strong math and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of work. Preferred Qualifications College degree; related professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Strong negotiation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. Self-starter who takes ownership of responsibilities. Ability to successfully manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Previous experience managing an accounts receivable portfolio is a plus. Work Environment This is primarily an office-based position with regular use of computers, phones, and other standard office equipment. The role is largely sedentary but includes regular interaction with customers, Profit Center Managers, and other members of the 3E/CED team. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
