FNB of Absecon - Credit Assistant/Analyst Entry level position for a qualified applicant who will be trained in underwriting and assigning risk assessment for moderately complex commercial real estate, C & I loans as well as underwriting consumer residential mortgage and home equity loans.

Requirements:

College Degree in accounting or finance preferred Minimum 5 years banking experience preferred Strong communication skills both verbal and written Strong knowledge of Microsoft word and excel Must be Detail Oriented Responsibilities Prepare financial statement spreads and review the adequacy of supporting financial information. Gather and analyze all information necessary pertaining to the loan request. Ensure compliance with the bank's lending policy. Develop and maintain knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, rates and competition. Provide administrative assistance to Credit Manager, including preparing and sending out financial request letters, managing the financial tracking for current borrowers and guarantors and updating annual loan review tracking. Creating Credit Files for new borrowers Filing of financials, memos, letters and other credit file correspondence. Scanning of borrower's financials Assist with external/internal audits. Gathering of customer data needed to underwrite loan request.

Position Information:

Employee will work in a typical office environment with co-workers and occasional in-person customers. This is not a remote position. Working hours for the lending department staff range from 8:00 AM through 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Minimum education - High School diploma or GED required.
