DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective We're looking for a dynamic, adaptable, and highly capable Credit Professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple responsibilities, and serves as a true utility player within the credit function. This is a hands-on, wide-ranging role that touches nearly every aspect of the credit process: from supporting underwriting and loan production to managing audits, overseeing construction draws, editing credit reports, organizing meetings, and assembling polished loan presentation packages. No two days will be the same — and that's exactly how you like it. You'll work directly with the Head of Credit Administration and serve as a critical right hand in keeping the department running smoothly, effectively, and in alignment with risk and business objectives. This is not just another credit role. You'll be central to how the credit department operates — the go-to resource for solving problems, filling gaps, and keeping things moving. If you're someone who likes variety, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in doing quality work across disciplines, this role was made for you. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Utility Team Player Step in wherever needed across credit operations, underwriting, and portfolio support. Take ownership of varied, high-impact projects — big and small — and follow them through to completion. Bridge the gap between strategy and execution, helping to ensure day-to-day activities align with departmental goals. Loan Presentation Assembly & Credit Report Editing Assemble loan presentation packages for Credit Committee and executive review. Proofread and polish credit memoranda for accuracy, consistency, and impact. Distribute finalized credit reports and materials to internal stakeholders and committee members. Meeting Coordination & Documentation Organize and schedule Credit Committee and credit-related meetings. Prepare meeting agendas, gather documentation, and ensure participants are fully briefed. Take detailed, actionable meeting minutes and track follow-ups and approvals. Portfolio & Credit Support Help monitor the health and performance of the loan portfolio. Assist in data analysis, portfolio reviews, and stress testing. Coordinate credit audits and loan review activities, supporting prep and follow-up actions. Reporting & Process Improvements Generate and refine credit and portfolio reports for management and board committees. Identify ways to streamline workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and improve reporting accuracy. Support credit technology or MIS system enhancements and rollouts. Other Duties Other duties as assigned. Skills/Abilities Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills. A sharp eye for detail. Able to manage multiple priorities. Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and credit systems (e.g., JackHenry, Abrigo, etc.). Flexible, proactive, and unafraid to roll up your sleeves. You see problems as opportunities and adapt easily to change. Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
