The Opportunity:
We are seeking a full time Credit Card Specialist to join our team. Under general supervision, the Credit Card Specialist will support the credit card programs as primary contact for front line staff. Provide direction and error resolution in compliance with federal regulations, affiliated card networks, and company policy and procedure.
What You'll Do:
Provide research, problem-solving and phone support to staff through general and specialized phone queues. Process Member Work Requests (MWRs) for monetary adjustments to member accounts, such as misapplied payments, fee reversals and credit balance adjustments. Process Member Work Requests (MWRs) for routine maintenance to card records, including credit line changes, replacement card ordering, name changes, and approved new credit card accounts. Prepare written correspondence to members using approved templates. Monitor exception and file maintenance reports and take necessary action. Review preventative reports (i.e., MasterCard Alerts) within established timelines. Advise supervisor of potential high-risk alerts for possible changes in strategy parameters to the Compromised Card Action Plan. Comply with information security procedures to protect member information. Maintain knowledge of regulations (i.e., Reg Z, Reg E, Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC) and attend training for job related regulatory updates. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent. Six months to one year of customer service experience, preferably within a financial institution. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft 365. Experience using Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to initiate and embrace change. Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and ability to work in a team environment.
