Job Description

UWM's 12-week internship program offers an immersive experience with around 200 interns, job shadowing, access to senior leaders, and extensive networking opportunities. Experience our one-of-a-kind workplace that thrives on collaboration, teamwork, and innovation. This internship is designed to give you a running start, not one that has you running errands. Join UWM's Servicing team and gain hands-on experience in mortgage operations. You'll support our Customer Care team in delivering exceptional service to borrowers after loan closing. This is your chance to learn the ins and outs of loan servicing while working with a dynamic team that values professionalism and client satisfaction.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Assist with borrower inquiries and payment processing through multiple channels (phone, secure messaging, online portal) Support the Customer Care team in resolving client service needs with clear explanations and positive communication Help manage loan account information and documentation in our servicing systems Learn about escrow management, PMI tracking, and loan account maintenance Contribute to maintaining professional standards in all client interactions Support the team with administrative tasks related to loan servicing operations
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2027 or 2028 (current junior/senior status) The ability to work Monday through Friday, 40-hours a week, fully on-site in Pontiac, MI from May 17th - August 6th An openness to learning, willingness to be coached, and ability to be flexible in our every-changing industry Ability to thrive in a team environment A strong work ethic
