Business Hours:
Monday & Tuesday 9am - 4:30pm, Wednesday 8am to 4:30pm, Thursday & Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm. Employees are scheduled 36-40 hours per week with rotating Saturdays off. Actual shift may vary based on branch opening/closing/balancing needs. Training for this position will be at our Latham office. Starting pay, $19.50-20/hr based on experience. The primary purpose of this "universal" position is to provide legendary service to members by welcoming them to the financial center while providing information regarding our credit union services. Acts as a member liaison, supporting member convenience with all credit union technology available. Supports member transactions through use of Interactive Teller Machines. Accurately processes transactions as required. Receives loan payments, processes cash advances and transfers, redeems bonds and processes insurance payments. Processes transfers and credit card payments. Performs vault management inclusive of verifying cash shipment under dual control, balancing, settlement and cash management of the financial center. Serves members by providing product and advisory information. Researches and solves member questions, problems, and complaints. Assist Management in maintaining our culture while achieving department sales referral goals. Conducts consumer account openings, secures required identification, explains all legal documents, and reviews documentation for accuracy. The ideal candidate will bring cash handling, customer service, strong communication and computer skills. Must be motivated to contribute to team goals. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
