Job Description
Job Description Job Summary The Loan Analyst II - Syndications is responsible for supporting the day-to-day servicing operations of the syndicated loan portfolio, including monitoring loan activities, processing transactions, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and assisting with portfolio reconciliation and reporting This position serves as the primary backup for Loan Analyst I responsibilities and provides support to the Senior Loan Analyst with month-end activities, reporting, reconciliation, and other portfolio oversight tasks. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities Performs day-to-day accounting activities related to syndicated loan transactions and serves as primary contact for loan inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. Coordinates loan closings and funding activities including the distribution of funds, interest payments, and covenant compliance deadlines. Analyzes and monitors loan activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with credit agreements, resolves discrepancies in loan data, and reports on fundings and recommendations to management for resolution and improvements. Prepares accurate and timely financial reports for the syndicated loan portfolio. Compile and analyze loan data to support internal and external audits, ensuring that all records are accurate and up to date. Creates and updates procedures for managing the syndicated loan portfolio.
Three (3) to five (5) years in corporate treasury or a financial institution. Experience in loan servicing or syndication, exposure to corporate treasury or financial institutions, and familiarity with loan servicing systems such as ACBS.
Preferred Licensure or other certifications: Skills Accounting Software, Balancing (Ledger/Billing), Commercial Loan Documentation, Corporate Finance, Customer Support, Financial Statement Analysis, Internal Controls, Loan Servicing, Loan Servicing Systems, Standard Accounting Practices, Syndicated Finance Competencies Analytical Skills, Critical Thinking, Detail Orientation, Interpersonal Communications, Prioritization, Time Management Work Environment This position requires no travel. Additional Information The expected base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $101,000, with the final offer determined based on factors such as experience, scope of the role, and demonstrated skills and competencies.
