Centralized under Global Supply Chain, this team is accountable for seamless integration of policy and execution activities for imports and exports in support of the entire Amgen organization to ensure our medicines are timely delivered at the right place. Members of GTE provide program oversight for trade compliance, establish controls and global standards for regional execution and are experts in international trade regulations for the bio-pharmaceutical industry. Key Responsibilities Assign Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification codes and Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) to company's commodities including drug product, raw materials, chemicals and other materials supporting the company's business\nReview shipping documentation and customs invoices for accuracy including valuation, commodity classification, and country of origin\nSubmit Export Declaration (EEI) to US Census via AES\nComplete Sanctioned Party List Screening via SAP-Global Trade Services (GTS)\nClassify products per the Harmonized Tariff of the United States (HTS US) Preferred qualifications:?
