$10,000 or $25,000 Req.

13109 Central Peninsula Hospital| Soldotna| AK Accounting Full Time, Day, Monday -Friday This position is eligible for $25,000 relocation assistance, a Critical Position Bonus equal to $10,000 (1 year commitment) or $25,000 (2 years), and participation in the Director-level Incentive Compensation Plan, which currently provides a maximum annual incentive opportunity of up to 10% of annual earnings. Position:
 The Accounting Director provides strategic leadership and oversight of the organization's accounting and financial operations. This position is responsible for directing financial planning, budgeting, debt financing, financial reporting, and internal controls. The Accounting Director assists the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in developing and implementing strategies to optimize financial performance and support the organization's long-term financial stability. As a key member of the leadership team, this role supports executive decision-making through accurate financial analysis, financial reporting, and strategic financial guidance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Master's preferred 5 years of finance or accounting — senior level experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred Knowledge of automated financial and accounting systems, federal and state financial regulations, budgeting and forecasting methodologies, and profitability analysis. Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, forecasts, and projections. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
