Full-Time, In-Person Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Director of Accounting Services to oversee all accounting and financial operations for a diverse portfolio that includes hospitality, restaurant, and real estate management entities. This leadership role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting expertise, proven leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple entities in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, month-end and year-end close processes, and account reconciliations. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, and banking relationships. Ensure timely and accurate sales tax, occupancy tax, and other regulatory filings. Coordinate the preparation of financial information and supporting schedules for income tax returns and external tax advisors. Monitor and manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and asset management activities. Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for multiple entities. Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to ownership and executive leadership. Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff. Assist with audits, financial reviews, and lender reporting requirements. Support acquisition, development, and property management accounting functions as needed. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Perform additional accounting and financial management duties as assigned. Qualifications - Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience. Demonstrated work history showing increasing levels of responsibility. Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax reporting. Experience managing multiple entities and complex accounting operations. Proven leadership and staff management experience. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Professional references required. Qualifications - Preferred CPA designation. Experience with Sage Experience in hospitality, restaurant, real estate, or property management accounting. Experience with multi-entity financial reporting and consolidations.
