full-time About the Role Pinnacle Partners is recruiting for a Finance Director for a direct-hire opportunity in Carmel, Indiana. This is a newly created, fully onsite leadership position responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, and oversight of key finance and business office functions.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to leadership and the Board Directly supervise the AP Accountant and monitor accounts receivable, collections, and overall financial performance Monitor key financial indicators, including cash flow, case costing, payor mix, and profitability Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial systems and reporting Oversee IT strategy and systems to ensure alignment with clinical and operational needs Ensure compliance across applicable areas Work with external advisors, consultants, and service providers Build strong relationships with physicians, payors, vendors, and staff Collaborate closely with executive leadership Lead, mentor, and develop finance and business office functions Partner with clinical and operational leadership to improve processes and efficiencies

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 7+ years of experience with proven management experience Strong knowledge of financial management and analysis, general ledger, journal entries, and budgeting Strong Excel and financial analysis skills Experience with accounting software; QuickBooks experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Polished, professional, assertive, and comfortable working with physicians and Board members Stable work history

Preferred :

Healthcare industry experience QuickBooks experience Experience with practice management and billing systems
