Temporary with potential for long-term/full-time opportunities About the Opportunity A well-established educational institution is seeking a Part-Time Financial Aid Representative to support students and families through the financial aid process. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, is comfortable discussing financial matters, and has strong attention to detail. Previous financial aid experience is preferred but not required, and training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Assist students and families with financial aid applications and processes. Guide students through FAFSA completion and related documentation requirements. Review financial aid packages and explain available funding options. Support scholarship, loan, payment plan, and tuition assistance processes. Assist students with VA benefits and other government education funding programs. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with financial aid requirements. Respond to student and parent inquiries in a professional, customer-focused manner. Work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills. Comfortable discussing tuition costs, financial aid options, and payment-related topics. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to learn complex processes, regulations, and documentation requirements. Proficiency with spreadsheets, including Google Sheets.
