Job Description The Financial Aid Office is seeking a highly motivated, student-focused, and organized Financial Aid Coordinator to join our team. This full-time position supports the daily operations of the Financial Aid Office and assists prospective, current, and former students and families throughout the financial aid process. The Financial Aid Coordinator provides guidance regarding financial aid eligibility, application procedures, verification requirements, financing options, and available federal, state, institutional, and private aid programs. This role is responsible for reviewing financial aid applications and supporting documentation, determining eligibility, packaging and revising financial aid awards, and assisting students in resolving outstanding financial aid requirements. The Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for students and families through in-person, phone, and email communication and is expected to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced enrollment environment. Additional responsibilities include coordinating the University's Federal Work Study program, maintaining compliance with federal and institutional regulations, monitoring student eligibility, supporting outreach and orientation activities, and assisting with general office operations within the Center for Enrollment Services. Occasional evening or weekend attendance at enrollment events, information sessions, and orientation programs may be required. Qualified candidates should possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality. Previous experience in financial aid, higher education, student services, or a related field is preferred.
