Accounting/Reporting Analyst

Job Description

About the Role This role supports the preparation of external financial reporting and helps ensure compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable regulatory requirements. The position contributes to the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports and disclosures, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and provides support on financial performance and compliance-related matters. Responsibilities Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting close process. Assist with technical accounting matters, including pension accounting, equity compensation, goodwill and other intangible assets, lease accounting under ASC 842, and revenue recognition under ASC 606. Prepare and support disclosures included in Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, including earnings press releases filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Update and maintain accounting policies to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Conduct technical accounting research and assist with related projects and initiatives. Analyze and research new and proposed accounting, reporting, and disclosure standards issued by the SEC. Assist in preparing accounting memorandums regarding the organization's position and the potential impact of new standards. Support external and internal audit requests. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 2+ years of experience in technical accounting and financial reporting. Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements. Preferred Skills Public accounting experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or active CPA candidacy.
