Summary The Experienced Financial Analyst for the Grain Product Lines plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic financial planning, operational analysis, and business decision-making. This position is responsible for delivering high-impact insights that drive profitability, efficiency, and alignment with enterprise objectives. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supporting operations, trading, planning, and functional managers through budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and general business decision support. Responsibilities Support Grain Financial Reporting & Analytical Capabilities Variance analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast Prepare and deliver executive-level financial reporting packages including Quarterly Financial Reviews (QFR), monthly P&L summaries, and financial performance decks highlighting key drivers and performance indicators Prepare quarterly cost savings and expenses management analysis to drive deeper understanding and management of spending across the grain product lines Create and enhance dashboards for margin, volume, and expense tracking Support Financial Forecasting & Budget Capabilities Support budgeting and forecasting cycles for the grain product lines Collaborate with commercial and operations finance to enhance grain forecasting capabilities and increase forecast accuracy Create forecast and budget for North America grain SG&A expenses Improving data governance and validation processes for financial reporting Supporting long-range planning (LRP) and headcount forecasting Identify process improvement projects that improve budgeting and forecast planning process Provide International Finance Support Liaison between International business units and Corporate for quarterly reporting, forecast and budget deliverables Ensure standard reporting across international business units Field questions from International Finance Leads Ad hoc projects to improve international reporting Minimum Qualifications (required) Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or Financial Planning and Analysis Additional Qualifications In depth understanding of budgeting, long-range planning and forecasting processes as well as various financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Statement of Cash Flow) Demonstrated learning agility with the ability to understand complex business problems Experienced user of ERP systems and forecasting tools as well as strong experience working with various types of data and information Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at once Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor others and thrive in a team environment Possess a continuous improvement mindset with the desire to lead change initiatives Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
