full-time Mitchell Hyundai is seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our team. This is an experienced-level position requiring previous automotive dealership F&I experience. The F&I Manager will guide customers through the financing process, structure deals, work with lenders, present F&I products, and ensure all transactions are accurate and compliant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive finance, lender relations, deal structuring, F&I product presentation, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Manage the entire F&I process from deal submission through funding Review credit applications and structure deals based on customer needs and available lender programs Submit deals to lenders, negotiate approvals, and secure competitive financing terms Present financing options, service contracts, GAP coverage, and other F&I products in a clear and professional manner Ensure all contracts, disclosures, and required documentation are completed accurately and in compliance with federal, state, lender, and dealership requirements Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and other lending partners Monitor contracts in transit and work to ensure timely funding Verify deal documentation for accuracy and completeness before finalizing transactions Maintain accurate records and protect sensitive customer information Stay current on lender programs, compliance requirements, credit laws, and available F&I products Work closely with the sales and management teams to provide a smooth and professional customer experience Support and educate sales staff on financing processes and available products when needed Consistently work toward dealership goals for profitability, product penetration, funding, and customer satisfaction Requirements Previous automotive dealership F&I experience required Strong knowledge of automotive lending, deal structure, lender relations, and F&I products Proven ability to work with lenders and secure financing for a wide range of credit profiles Experience reviewing credit applications and structuring automotive finance transactions Thorough understanding of F&I compliance, contracts, disclosures, and required documentation Strong sales, presentation, and negotiation skills Demonstrated ability to present additional products and services professionally and ethically Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deals and priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment Experience using dealership management systems, lender platforms, and automotive finance software Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with sales and management teams High level of integrity and commitment to protecting customer information
