Job Description

Description Director of Revenue Cycle
  • Healthcare System We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Revenue Cycle to lead the revenue management operations across our two-hospital healthcare system.
This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to drive financial performance, optimize billing processes, and enhance revenue integrity within a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient registration, billing, coding, collections, and accounts receivable management across both hospitals.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve revenue cycle efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinical, financial, and administrative teams to ensure seamless revenue flow and resolve billing or coding issues.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop revenue cycle staff to ensure high levels of performance and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific billing and coding regulations.
  • Manage relationships with payers, vendors, and external partners to optimize reimbursement processes.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to executive leadership regarding revenue cycle performance and opportunities.

Requirements Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing, coding, insurance reimbursement, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
  • Ability to develop strategic initiatives and lead change management efforts.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, CMS
guidelines, and payer policies.
