Accounting Specialist Accounting Specialist :

Accounting Manager :

General Responsibilities :
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department. Process vendor and customer transactions in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording AP/AR data. Prepare bills, invoices, bank deposits, and general ledger postings. Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all entries are accurate and properly posted. Prepare bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and financial statements as needed. Enter key financial transactions into the accounting system daily. Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation issues and discrepancies. Generate financial reports detailing the status of accounts payable and receivable. Inform management and compile summaries of financial activity. Maintain up-to-date job knowledge and comply with all relevant accounting regulations and company policies.
Qualifications :
Associate degrees in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred. Experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable roles is preferred but not required Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations. High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience with spreadsheets, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
