Job Description

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support our hospitality client on a hybrid contract basis in West Hollywood, California. This role is designed to help the organization proactively prepare for two upcoming external audits. While the audit timing has not yet been finalized, leadership is looking to bring in a skilled hands-on professional who can strengthen balance sheet integrity, resolve complex accounting issues, and help ensure overall audit readiness.

The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead thorough reviews of balance sheet accounts to confirm accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
  • Reconcile high-volume bank activity across numerous accounts and resolve outstanding differences in a timely manner.
  • Examine intercompany balances among multiple entities, identify inconsistencies, and drive issues through resolution.
  • Investigate aged or unusual reconciling items and determine the appropriate accounting treatment to clear them.
  • Assess key accounts such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, leases, and accrued liabilities to support clean financial reporting.
  • Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documentation required for external audit requests.
  • Identify accounting gaps or control concerns that could affect the audit process and recommend practical corrective actions.
  • Support month-end close activities by posting journal entries and maintaining accurate general ledger records where needed.
