PS is rapidly becoming the leading solution for quality multi-sourcing and end-to-end automated research solution.
The Opportunity:
PureSpectrum is seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Revenue Manager to lead our billing and revenue accounting function. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will oversee the billing team and own the full revenue cycle — from new client onboarding and invoicing through revenue recognition, reconciliations, and reporting. This is a client-facing role. You will regularly communicate with customers and collaborate with internal employees across Sales, Legal, People & Culture, and IT, serving as a key point of contact for billing questions and escalations. The ideal candidate combines hands-on revenue accounting expertise with proven people-management experience and thrives in a role that bridges Accounting with cross-functional partners. Success in this role requires strong ownership, clear communication, and the ability to drive issues through to resolution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Location:
Westlake Village, CA. This position is hybrid. Candidates must be able to commute to the Westlake Village headquarters 4 days a week.
Your Responsibilities:
Manage, mentor, and develop the billing team, including workload planning, performance management, and coaching. Establish clear processes, priorities, and quality standards. Own revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606). Perform and review revenue-related reconciliations, and support month-end and quarter-end close. Oversee invoicing across multiple channels, ensuring invoices are issued accurately, on schedule, and in alignment with relevant sales tax obligations. Serve as the primary point of contact for billing escalations and queries from customers and internal teams, driving issues through to resolution. Manage new client setup and processing within the billing system, and coordinate onboarding and paperwork across Legal, People & Culture (P&C), IT, and Sales to ensure a smooth, client-friendly, compliant intake process. Administer sales rebate calculations and payments, and prepare and deliver sales reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Serve as a power user of NetSuite for billing, revenue, and reporting workflows, and identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-5 years of revenue accounting experience. 2-5 years of people-management experience. Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) and billing processes. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication skills, with client-facing experience and the ability to partner effectively across departments (Sales, Legal, P&C, IT) and communicate clearly and professionally with both customers and internal employees.
PureSpectrum Perks:
PureSpectrum is continuously focused on our culture, which is rooted in innovation, connection, and providing a great experience at all business levels —what we like to call PSX. Our team enjoys a creative and collaborative environment with plenty of opportunities for fun, connection, and team celebrations. We believe in supporting our team both personally and professionally—empowering you to thrive inside and outside of work.
Our benefits include:

Hybrid Work Flexibility The base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $125,000 per year, with individual starting pay determined by relevant work experience, specialized skills, education or certifications, and internal peer equity.
