DUTIES:
Conduct comprehensive wealth planning and investment advisory for
HNW/UHNW
Latin American families (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay), validating objectives, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, and family wealth structures in Spanish and presenting a holistic balance-sheet approach (assets, liabilities, and cash flows). Design, model, and recommend sophisticated portfolio construction and investment strategies using advanced financial modeling and market analysis; translate insights into actionable proposals across investments and asset allocation, aligned to clients' long-term goals and evolving constraints. Originate and deliver integrated solutions across investment, banking, credit/financing, and fiduciary/succession planning, owning the client experience and coordinating senior specialists and product partners to implement end-to-end wealth management solutions. Proactively identify, research, and independently contact prospective
HNW/UHNW
clients in Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay; develop and deepen a LATAM network to prospects and expand the book of business through disciplined pipeline management. Navigate complex cross-border and multi-jurisdiction transactions, structuring solutions to minimize legal, regulatory, and financial risk to clients and the bank; legally binding agreements and ensure adherence to country-specific requirements. Lead onboarding and ongoing servicing controls, including KYC/AML, cross- border regulatory obligations, confidentiality requirements, and maintenance of accurate client profiles, documentation, and books-and-records. Train and mentor junior staff on advisory process, client coverage best practices, and compliance routines; travel up to 25% internationally (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay) to meet clients and prospects. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Law, or related field of study plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as Banker, Lending Advisor, Investment Advisor, Index Trading Book Runner (Middle Office), Rates Senior Analyst (Middle Office), or related occupation . The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Law, or related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as Banker, Lending Advisor, Investment Advisor, Index Trading Book Runner (Middle Office), Rates Senior Analyst (Middle Office), or related occupation. This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following skills: working within the financial industry; serving in private banking front office or middle office positions; participating in relationship management, lending, wealth planning, and investment advisory; navigating complex international regulatory environments and complying with country-specific regulations to ensure financial transactions and client interactions adhere to country-specific legal standards; handling cross- border transactions within and across international markets; assessing and mitigating risks associated with financial transactions; handling sensitive financial information in compliance with country-specific privacy laws; developing relationships with high net worth (HNW) clients located in international markets; business development; sales including profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale, and asking for referrals; asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and derivatives; investments, wealth planning, credit, trusts, and banking concepts including collateralized credit, wealth advisory planning, deposits, and custody; communicating investment strategies to clients and prospects; achieving financial sales success facing ultra-high net worth (UHNW) private clients; obtaining referrals of prospective clients; building relationships with international private banking UHNW individuals, family-owned business communities, and professional centers of influence including law firms, tax advisors, and multifamily advisor communities from international jurisdictions; managing and developing relationships with international UHNW clients; knowledge and understanding of the political, economic, and business environment from international jurisdictions; and applying corporate law and personal tax concepts of international jurisdictions. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: direct sourcing, client acquisition, and building a client base and network across international jurisdictions; prospecting UHNW individuals and converting prospects to clients with portfolios of market value of at least $25 million; UHNW private client relationship management and team management; asset allocation, portfolio construction and portfolio reviews; marketing of traditional portfolio investments including equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, securities and mutual funds; marketing of options and derivatives including equity options, interest rate derivatives, and foreign exchange derivatives; marketing of alternative investments including private equity funds and hedge funds; marketing of deposit solutions, margin loans and structured loans; and basic trust and estate planning advisory and identification of wealth and succession planning opportunities.
