A reputable organization in the Boca Raton area is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and adjustmentsOversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlinesPrepare and review financial statements, variance analyses, and supporting schedules for managementSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections in collaboration with finance leadershipImplement and maintain internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures in accordance with GAAPSupervise and mentor a small accounting team, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional developmentPartner with operations and senior management to identify process improvements and drive efficiency across the departmentCoordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during audits and filings

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or team lead responsibilitiesStrong technical accounting knowledge and experience with multi-entity or high-volume environmentsAdvanced Excel skills; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systemsProven ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy under deadlines, and communicate effectively across departmentsAscendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
