Job Description:
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations for a multi-entity organization. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes across multiple business entities. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in driving consistency, compliance, and efficiency within the accounting function. Key Responsibilities Oversee general accounting activities for multiple entities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Prepare and review consolidated and entity-level financial statements Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and process documentation Review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances or discrepancies Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes as needed Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis and reporting that supports business decision-making Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance support Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, standardize processes, and enhance operational efficiency Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives .Qualification Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required CPA or advanced degree preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Prior experience in a multi-entity, complex corporate environment strongly preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with intercompany accounting and consolidated financial statements Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
