Job Description

Summary Seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to provide oversight and leadership across all phases of the hospital's revenue cycle. The role requires direct management of team members, coordination with vendors, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role is located in Russell, KS. Key Responsibilities Revenue Cycle Oversight & Leadership:
Direct and oversee patient registration through collections.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of 11 to 12 direct reports.
Vendor & Contract Management:
Manage relationships with outsourced billing providers.
HIM Collaboration:
Oversee health information management and clinical documentation improvement.
Departmental Alignment:
Liaise between departments to optimize charge capture.
Compliance Maintenance:
Ensure compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and state regulations.
Credentialing & Charge Master:
Manage insurance credentialing and CDM oversight. Qualifications 3-5 years of formal management or leadership experience in a hospital setting. 7-10 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle operations. Critical Access Hospital expertise is required. Proficient in interpreting federal, state, and commercial payer regulations. Experience 2+ years of management experience in hospital settings. 7-10 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle operations. Specific experience with Critical Access Hospitals or small rural hospitals. Skills Technical skills in managing A/R and optimizing cash flow. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Experience with industry-specific platforms like CPSI/TruBridge and EMDs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare-related fields, or equivalent industry experience. Formal coding certification is a plus. Schedule/Shift Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
