Position Summary The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily accounting functions of the business while ensuring financial accuracy, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies. This position works closely with ownership, the Chief Financial Officer, and department managers to maintain strong financial controls and support informed business decisions. Primary Responsibilities Manage the daily flow of financial transactions between our Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and accounting software. Manage financial data integration between our field management software and accounting system. Prepare and reconcile daily retail deposits. Maintain and reconcile cash drawers and oversee change funds. Prepare monthly financial records and reconciliations for review by the Chief Financial Officer. Process and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments. Manage equipment floor plan financing, including inventory tracking and payment schedules. Reconcile company credit card transactions and ensure proper expense coding. Maintain accurate records within QuickBooks Online and support the integrity of the accounting system. Administer petty cash and employee reimbursement requests. Prepare and file sales tax reports accurately and on time. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiencies. Collaborate with department managers to ensure financial accuracy and accountability. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information. Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as needed to support the business. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance experience (preferred). Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is required. Experience with POS systems, business management software, or inventory-based accounting is preferred. Strong understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations, sales tax, and general accounting principles. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential financial information.
