2989446212-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Consolidated Precision Products is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations in a complex aerospace manufacturing environment. This role oversees general ledger, cost accounting, inventory, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and internal controls. The Accounting Manager partners with operations to analyze production costs, support budgeting and forecasting, and drive continuous improvement. You will supervise accounting staff, standardize procedures across sites, support audits, and provide clear financial insights to leadership in a safety- and quality-focused culture. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations Manage cost accounting, standard costs, and inventory valuation for manufacturing operations Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with GAAPSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for plant and corporate leadership Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with policies, and audit readiness Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing coaching and workload direction Collaborate with operations to analyze production costs, margins, and efficiency improvements Support cross-plant projects, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills Cost accounting Manufacturing accounting General ledger management Financial reporting (GAAP) Budgeting and forecasting Inventory and standard cost analysis Variance analysis Internal controls and compliance ERP/accounting systems Excel and financial modeling
