Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and lead the controllership function for Lansdale unit at EDS. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies and regulations, and driving the financial close processes. Your expertise in financial analysis and insights will be instrumental in providing valuable recommendations and guidance to senior management for strategic decision-making. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and best practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including local finance teams, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations. Your strong leadership skills will be crucial in managing and developing a team of controllership professionals, providing mentorship and support for their professional growth. As the Senior Manager, Controllership, you will serve as a key point of contact for local finance matters in discussions with senior management and other stakeholders. Your ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, will be essential in driving the success of the controllership function at the country level. You will report directly to our EDS Controller and you'll work out of our Lansdale, PA location on a Hybrid work schedule. This position requires working on-site on a 9/80 work schedule. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and lead the controllership function for Lansdale
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting policies and regulations
Drive the financial close processes , ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures,, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and best practices
Establish and maintain strong internal control procedures to protect company assets and meet requirements for SOX compliance
Collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including local finance teams, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
Manage and develop a team of controllership professionals, providing mentorship and support for their professional growth
Provide support for integration efforts including ERP (SAP) Implementation
Collaborate closely with compliance team to meet US government compliance requirements
Manage Revenue Recognition process under ASC 606
Serve as a key point of contact for local finance matters, representing the country or region in discussions with senior management and other stakeholders Qualifications
US PERSON REQUIREMENT
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting and GAAP compliance
Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or equivalent certification
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively
