Description Robert Half Finance and Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnered with a rapidly growing, multi-entity organization in the Dallas that is creating a new Accounting Manager position to lead the day-to-day operations of its Accounting and Accounts Payable teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys building teams, improving processes, solving problems, and creating structure in a high-growth environment. Reporting to the Controller and partnering closely with the CFO and Finance leadership team, the Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, lead the monthly close, strengthen reconciliation processes, develop the accounting team, and help build an accounting infrastructure capable of supporting continued growth and acquisitions. C0M Key Responsibility Areas

+ Lead, coach, develop, and manage the Accounting and AP teams while establishing priorities, accountability, and performance expectations.

+ Oversee daily accounting activities across multiple entities, including GL, reconciliations, intercompany, AP, payroll, revenue, accruals, fixed assets, and consolidations.

+ Drive a timely and accurate monthly close, manage the close calendar, monitor deadlines, review supporting schedules, and resolve outstanding issues.

+ Strengthen balance sheet reconciliations, resolve aged items, ensure proper documentation, and maintain strong accounting controls.

+ Oversee AP operations, resolve escalated issues, improve processes, and partner with Operations and locations.

+ Build accounting processes and team structures that can support continued growth, additional entities, and acquisitions.

+ Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate manual processes, improve SOPs, and leverage financial systems including Sage Intacct, Concur, and Paycom.

+ Maintain an audit-ready environment, coordinate PBC requests, strengthen documentation, and support internal controls.

+ Partner with the Controller, CFO, Finance leadership, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve financial processes. Why Consider This Opportunity?

Requirements Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience + 2+ years of Accounting Manager or comparable people-management experience

+ Experience leading accounting teams in a multi-entity environment

+ Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting and consolidations

+ Strong general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation experience

+ Experience leading or significantly contributing to monthly close

+ Working knowledge of payroll and revenue accounting

+ Experience overseeing or partnering closely with Accounts Payable

+ Advanced Excel skills

+ Strong problem-solving and accounting troubleshooting abilities

+ Experience working in a fast-paced, growing organization

+ Dental Support Organization (DSO) experience

+ Sage Intacct experience in a multi-entity environment

+ Acquisition and newly acquired entity integration experience
