Accounting Manager The Accounting Manager is the financial leader, responsible for the company's financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role oversees forecasting, reporting, payroll, and daily accounting functions while remaining hands-on in executing key financial tasks and supporting business decision-making. What You'll Do Lead the day-to-day accounting function, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all financial processes Perform and oversee bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Manage cash flow, including monitoring balances, forecasting needs, and supporting operational planning Maintain and improve internal accounting controls, processes and efficiencies Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow reporting and analysis Manage month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports on a timely and consistent basis following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Support leadership with financial insights, reporting, and forecasting to guide business decisions Supervise and support accounting staff, balancing oversight with hands-on execution Coordinate with external tax professionals and auditors to support annual tax filings and financial reviews What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger, financial reporting, and compliance, preferably in a small business or manufacturing environment Proven experience leading the accounting function, including people management Experience in a multi-entity environment Technologically savvy with excellent Microsoft Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks Knowledge of GAAP and relevant compliance/tax requirements Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
PAY RANGE
$90,000 - $115,000 a year •Starting pay often falls between entry rate and mid-point for new hires and is based upon specific skills and experience
