Job Description

As Store Manager, you will oversee every aspect of our Chippewa Falls location. Your primary responsibility is leading vehicle sales , while also overseeing customer financing, portfolio management, collections, warranty coordination, and the overall daily operations of the dealership. This is not a desk job. You'll spend your day working directly with customers, helping them purchase vehicles, structuring financing, managing customer accounts, supporting your Assistant Manager, and ensuring the dealership delivers an outstanding customer experience from start to finish. Sales Leadership (Primary Responsibility) Lead all vehicle sales from initial customer contact through vehicle delivery. Welcome and assist walk-in customers. Respond promptly to phone calls, website inquiries, and scheduled appointments. Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives. Explain E-Z Auto Credit's financing program and help customers understand the buying process. Build value around our financing program, affordable weekly payments, and customer service—not just the vehicle itself. Follow up consistently with previous customers and unsold prospects. Meet and exceed monthly sales goals. Coach and train the Assistant Manager on the sales process and customer experience. Customer Financing & Deal Structure Complete customer credit applications. Verify employment, income, and references. Structure deals that fit company lending guidelines. Present financing options clearly and professionally. Work directly with ownership on deal approvals when necessary. Portfolio Management & Collections Review the delinquency report daily. Oversee the overall health of the customer portfolio. Contact customers regarding past-due accounts as needed. Work with customers to establish payment arrangements. Ensure customer information remains accurate and current. Monitor Right to Cure notices, repossessions, and legal timelines. Work with the charged-off collections manager on skip tracing and account recovery efforts. Deal Processing & Administration Oversee completion of all vehicle sale documentation. Ensure deals are entered accurately into Frazer and CVR. Review deal jackets for completeness and accuracy. Maintain organized customer and deal files. Ensure all paperwork is completed before vehicle delivery. Warranty & Customer Support Assist customers with warranty concerns. Coordinate repairs with approved repair facilities. Obtain repair estimates. Receive ownership approval before repairs are authorized. Keep customers informed throughout the repair process. Ensure invoices and repair documentation are complete and organized. Leadership & Store Operations Supervise, train, and develop the Assistant Manager. Delegate responsibilities while maintaining accountability. Lead by example in customer service, professionalism, and work ethic. Ensure the dealership remains clean, organized, and customer-ready. Oversee inventory presentation and lot appearance. Communicate regularly with ownership regarding store performance, customer concerns, and operational improvements. Continuously look for ways to improve dealership efficiency and customer satisfaction. Qualifications We're looking for someone who: Has strong sales and customer service skills. Enjoys building long-term customer relationships. Has leadership experience or is ready to take on a leadership role. Is organized, dependable, and self-motivated. Can multitask and prioritize effectively. Communicates professionally in person, over the phone, and through email. Is comfortable making decisions and taking ownership. Learns new software quickly. Wants to build a long-term career with a growing local business. $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
