- Friday Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Specialist
- Finance to support financial and accounting operations in a healthcare environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial activities accurately and efficiently. This opportunity is well suited for a finance professional who enjoys working with financial data, accounting processes, reporting, and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day financial and accounting operations for assigned programs and departments. Prepare, review, and maintain financial reports, records, reconciliations, and accounting documentation. Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvement. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial tracking, and variance analysis. Review invoices, expenses, transactions, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance. Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with organizational policies and accounting standards. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Collaborate with internal departments, leadership, and accounting teams to resolve financial issues and support business objectives. Prepare financial information and reports for management review. Ensure appropriate documentation and controls are maintained for financial transactions. Support audits and provide requested financial documentation as needed. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Required. Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Required. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with physician practice accounting
