Healthcare Finance and Analytics Specialist Supervisor:

The Healthcare Finance and Analytics Specialist serves as a key partner to the Chief Financial Officer. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining financial, operational, and reimbursement analytics that drive executive decision-making across the organization. The role will be dedicated to payer contract strategy, reimbursement analysis, contract renewals, and negotiation support while providing actionable insights regarding profitability, growth opportunities, service line performance, market trends, and organizational structure. This position will play a role in supporting mergers or consolidations of entities, assessing service line expansion, and creating executive-level reporting that guides organizational strategy. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Strategic Financial Analytics (40%) Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting. Analyze service line profitability across clinics, ASCs, and ancillary services. Perform payer mix, reimbursement, and margin analysis. Develop predictive models related to patient volumes, provider capacity, and financial performance. Conduct variance analysis against budget, forecast, and historical performance. Evaluate operational trends and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement. Develop data-driven recommendations for executive leadership. Payer Contracting & Negotiations (40%) Manage payer contract inventory and renewal calendar. Lead reimbursement analysis for commercial, governmental, and workers' compensation payers. Support and participate in payer negotiations alongside the CFO. Model proposed rate changes and quantify financial impacts. Monitor payer policy and reimbursement changes. Develop negotiation strategies supported by financial and operational data. Track contract performance and identify underperforming agreements. Strategic Planning & Growth Initiatives (10%) Support evaluation of new service lines and expansion opportunities. Participate in market analyses and competitive benchmarking. Assist leadership with business case development for strategic initiatives. Conduct due diligence analyses for prospective partnerships or mergers. Assist with ROI and investment models for major capital projects. Business Intelligence & Reporting (10%) Lead development of executive scorecards and dashboards. Present findings to executive leadership and ownership groups. Translate complex financial information into actionable insights. Improve organizational access to reliable business intelligence.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, or related field. Minimum 2 years of progressive healthcare finance, analytics, reimbursement, or contracting experience. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, or equivalent analytics platforms. Experience analyzing large operational and financial data sets. Strong financial modeling experience. Preferred Managed care contracting experience. ASC or physician practice experience. Healthcare reimbursement expertise. Merger and acquisition support experience.
Skills & Abilities:
High attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong experience reviewing and analyzing financial data with a high level of accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure for month-end deliverables.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. This position is 100% in-office due to the nature of the responsibilities.

Compensation & Work Schedule:
Full-Time:
40 hours/week. Exempt.
Day Shift:
