Finance Generalist Put Your Financial Skills to Work for a Meaningful Mission As a Finance Generalist at The Arc Columbia-Saratoga, you'll use your financial and accounting expertise to support an organization dedicated to expanding opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, you'll work as part of our Finance team to help ensure accurate financial operations, manage reporting and reconciliations, support agency contracts and programs, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

At The Arc Columbia-Saratoga, you'll belong, contribute, and make a difference." Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records. Prepare CFR schedules, financial reconciliations, and standard monthly journal entries. Prepare annual budgets for OPWDD contracts, verify contract amounts, and complete quarterly vouchers and required financial reports. Coordinate billing and financial reporting for agency programs, including VESID and Preschool services. Support the financial administration of Preschool IDEA Federal Flow Through Grants, including Sections 611 and 619. Monitor grant receivables and work with program managers to support the appropriate use of grant funding. Assist with fixed asset records, equipment capitalization, tagging, and required inventory. Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable and other Finance Office functions as needed. Prepare year-end reconciliations and other documentation for the agency's annual audit. Maintain compliance with agency policies, procedures, training, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate effectively with Finance team members, program managers, and others throughout the organization. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college or university; or Two years of General Ledger and Accounts Receivable experience and/or training; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
