Finance Operations Specialist

Job Description

Finance Operations Specialist Daldrop SBB LLC is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Finance Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day accounting and finance activities for the Phoenix operations of Daldrop and Walkair. This role will manage routine accounting transactions while also supporting ERP implementation and ongoing system activities, contract administration, tax compliance, and other finance-related operational needs. What You'll Do Process day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Prepare customer invoices, process vendor invoices, and assist with collections as needed. Create and maintain purchase orders and resolve invoice or receiving discrepancies. Enter and maintain accurate accounting transactions in QuickBooks and other financial systems. Prepare checks, ACH transactions, wire transfers, and other payments in accordance with company approval procedures. Reconcile credit card statements, bank activity, and assigned accounts. Maintain accurate vendor, customer, and financial records and supporting documentation. Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities, reconciliations, and reporting. Provide hands-on support for ERP implementation and ongoing system use, including data entry, data migration, testing, documentation, and user support. Assist with maintaining accurate financial and operational data within the ERP system and support process improvements as needed. Support contract administration, including maintaining agreements, tracking required documentation, and assisting with contract-related billing and payment activities. Support sales and use tax, tax exemption certificates, 1099 preparation, and other tax or compliance documentation. Assist with audit requests and information needed by external accountants, tax professionals, or other business partners. Serve as a day-to-day finance resource for the Phoenix facility while supporting both Daldrop and Walkair. Assist with other accounting, finance, and administrative projects as business needs evolve. What We're Looking For Required Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Three or more years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations experience. Hands-on accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and account reconciliations. Experience working with ERP and accounting systems. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Experience supporting an ERP implementation, system transition, or rollout. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Experience with contract administration, tax support, or manufacturing/project-based operations. $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
