Duties Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial models, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. Oversee the preparation and interpretation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Manage the organization's financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act). Conduct detailed analysis of profit & loss statements, cost accounting data, and variance reports to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business intelligence dashboards that enhance data-driven insights for executive leadership. Supervise the maintenance and enhancement of accounting systems, ensuring integration with financial software for seamless data flow. Provide leadership in strategic planning initiatives, including financial projection model development and scenario analysis to support long-term organizational goals. Requirements Proven experience in corporate accounting, public accounting or related finance roles with a focus on financial analysis and reporting. Extensive knowledge of SOX compliance, IFRS standards, GAAP regulations, and regulatory reporting requirements. Strong expertise in financial software tools such as Excel data analysis, financial reporting software, and business intelligence platforms. Demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategies, and investment analysis. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and interpreting complex financial concepts for diverse audiences. Data analysis skills combined with a solid understanding of technical accounting principles such as cost accounting, variance analysis, and profit & loss management. Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills capable of leading teams through change while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
