Pewaukee, WI — This role requires 4 days per week onsite (Monday-Thursday), with Fridays remote. KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Financial Systems & Reporting Administrator / Manager - Microsoft Business Central + Solver (or Similar Reporting Tool) You will own the firm's core financial systems end-to-end: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as the system of record, and Solver Global as the reporting and consolidation layer on top of it. The scope covers all of it: administration, configuration, data integrity, and month-end close support. The firm's primary output is its financial statements, so this role sits at the intersection of accounting and technology — you need to understand both the debits and the data model. Longer term, this person will help evaluate and bolt on additional applications to strengthen portfolio management and data analytics capabilities. There is genuine room to shape the roadmap. This role operates within a very small team of approximately five to six people. While you are the sole owner of the financial systems function, you will interact with virtually everyone in the company on a near-daily basis and collaborate closely with the firm's CPA staff on accounting output and financial reporting sign-off.
The position is primarily on-site:
four days per week in the office, one day per week remote, plus two non-contiguous weeks per year fully remote. Key ResponsibilitiesSystems Administration & Configuration Serve as the primary administrator and configuration owner for Dynamics 365 Business Central Administer and maintain Solver Global, including report design, templates, and the reporting hierarchy Manage user access, permissions, security roles, and system settings Own dimension structures, chart of accounts architecture, and entity/company setup across multiple investment entities Handle approximately 90% of day-to-day Business Central troubleshooting independently, escalating only major breaks to an outside Business Central consultant Data Management & Integrity Manage all data input into Business Central, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness Build and maintain data imports, integrations, and validation routines across entities and asset classes Troubleshoot data discrepancies between Business Central and downstream reporting Map and maintain the specific data fields pulled from Business Central into Solver Global for financial reporting Support ongoing automation of banking transaction exports into Excel for import into Business Central, including ACH payment workflows Financial Reporting Build, maintain, and enhance financial statements and management reports in Solver Global Support the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and consolidations; the first two to three days of each month are dedicated primarily to getting entries in, compiling data, and producing financial statements Develop reporting packages for internal stakeholders and investors Translate finance-team requirements into functional report specifications Process daily wire and ACH transactions and record them into Business Central Systems Strategy & Growth Evaluate, recommend, and implement additional applications layered onto Business Central — particularly for portfolio management and data analytics Document processes, configurations, and workflows Identify and automate manual processes across the finance function Required Qualifications Solid accounting foundation — degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience 3+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience that includes strength in the accounting/finance modules. Strength with ERP administration, configuration, customization, and data entry Experience supporting the month-end close A working understanding of debits, credits, and financial statements Experience supporting or executing month-end close in an ERP environment Comparable Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (cloud) experience may be considered in lieu of direct Business Central experience for candidates with strong financial systems and reporting expertise. Strong report-writing skills, with the ability to build financial reports from the ground up, including the ability to identify and map specific data fields from an ERP into a reporting tool such as Solver Global or equivalent Advanced Excel — non-negotiable Demonstrated ability to work autonomously Strong communication skills; able to work directly with accounting and executive stakeholders Must be local to the client's office and able to work on-site four days per week Preferred Qualifications Direct experience with Solver Global (or comparable
CPM/FP&A
reporting tools: Prophix, Vena, Jet Reports, OneStream, Workday Adaptive Planning); Power Pivot and Power Query experience considered highly transferable Strong technical aptitude beyond basic ERP usage, including the ability to understand data structures, identify and map ERP fields into reporting tools, troubleshoot configurations, and build or modify reporting solutions. Experience with SQL, Power Query, Power Automate, AL/C-AL, or similar technologies is a plus. Experience in investment management, private equity, real estate, energy, or family office environments Multi-entity and consolidated reporting experience Familiarity with ACH and wire workflows and banking data exports Compensation depends on experience but is typically $100,000 - $140,000/yr.
