Position Summary:

A Relationship Manager brings AAC Credit Union's Aspire. Achieve. Connect. philosophy to life by proactively engaging members, delivering exceptional service, and serving as a trusted financial guide. This role discovers member needs, provides tailored financial solutions, and maintains a strong opportunity pipeline that supports member success and branch growth. • Delivers exceptional member service at every touchpoint. Pro-actively engages with members promoting the AAC brand of service. Drives member engagement and branch growth. Assists with escalated member concerns ensuring members feel heard, supported, and valued. Builds member trust and confidence.
• Possesses expert-level knowledge of AAC products and services. Uses active listening and thoughtful discovery questions to recommend solutions that help members aspire to new possibilities, achieve financial goals, and connect with the right tools and services.
• Meets with new and existing members to open accounts and offer services following the Aspire Achieve Connect pathway. Conducts discovery meetings to identify member needs and opportunities.
• Develops and maintains an opportunity pipeline to deepen member relationships and increase member retention. Conducts regular member outreach through in person meetings, text, email, and telephone communication. Provides excellent follow-up and continued support. Drives branch growth and meets engagement targets.
• Meets with members to determine lending needs. Suggests lending solutions that benefit the members. Creates accurate loan applications and collects required documentation to submit to underwriting. Meets with members to fund loans. Provides lending follow-up and continued member support.
• Recognizes that accuracy is part of good service by delivering error-free documents and transactions. Adheres to credit union policies and procedures, including those guided by the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
• Supports branch leadership by overseeing operations and team in manager's absence.
• Acts as a Member Advisor when needed, completing banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Accurately maintaining a cash drawer. May have vault management duties.
• Holds self to a high professional standard. Represents and interacts with members, teams, and the public in a professional manner. Displays a positive, coachable attitude. Remains calm and confident in stressful situations.
• May attend community and business development functions representing the AAC brand.
• Is a dependable teammate, arrives on time and is ready to help members.

What We're Looking For Minimum of (2)years of banking experience (banking or credit union experience preferred but not required). Minimum of (1) years in Relationship Management experience (banking or credit union experience preferred but not required).
