We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Claims Processor to join our outstanding Claims Department team in Modesto, California. Benefits 401(k) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Position Summary The Claims Processor is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of medical claims submitted by outside providers. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a working knowledge of medical terminology and claims adjudication processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform accurate data entry of claims information. Process and adjudicate medical claims in a timely manner. Review claims and determine appropriate financial responsibility based on established guidelines, policies, and procedures. Prepare claims-related documents and correspondence. Ensure payments are processed accurately and in compliance with organizational policies. Analyze claim information and resolve discrepancies as needed. Maintain confidentiality of patient and provider information. Work effectively with internal departments to ensure efficient claims processing. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous medical claims processing experience preferred. General medical knowledge and understanding of medical terminology required.
