We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Auto Parts Clerical Support Staff member to assist with processing, tracking, and resolving claims related to damaged or missing inventory. This position plays a vital role in helping maintain inventory accuracy, ensuring timely resolution of issues, and supporting the warehouse operations team with administrative tasks. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Log and document all damaged, missing, or returned items from shipments Initiate and track claims with carriers, vendors, or internal departments Collect, organize, and maintain evidence (photos, reports, packing slips, etc.) for each claim Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, suppliers, and customer service teams regarding claim status Prepare weekly and monthly reports on claims, damages, and resolutions Update inventory systems to reflect claims or adjustments Assist with quality control checks and damage assessments as needed Maintain filing systems and records, both digital and physical Support clerical needs within the warehouse and an office environment Qualifications Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (GED); additional training in logistics or inventory control is a plus Minimum 1 year of clerical or administrative experience Strong data entry skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Problem-solving mindset and ability to follow through with minimal supervision
