Our work environment includes:
Modern office setting On-the-job training The individual will work in the Welfare Claims Department, 40 hours per week, and will report directly to the Claims Team Lead as well as Fund Administrator. Claims Processor Healthcare Job Description Claims processors must have claims adjudication experience and knowledge of CPTs, ICD-10 and billing guidelines for different types of healthcare coverage. Strong verbal and writing, Microsoft Office, research, and time-management skills are preferred. The position requires a high school diploma, two to five years of claims processing and adjudication experience, as well as a proactive attitude and excellent Customer service.
Typical claims processor duties:
Entering, processing and adjusting health claims in accordance with claims policies and procedures Handling complex claims Reviewing, analyzing, and processing claims and policies to determine the extent of the company's liability and entitlement Researching and analyzing claims issues Responding to inquiries from providers and patients Coordinating responsibility of payments with Workers' Compensation and Third-Party Payors Other work assigned as needed, special projects Bilingual Spanish/English preferred If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to work in a office setting and help patients access the care they need, we encourage you to apply.
