Our facilities in Norman, Oklahoma, offer various levels of treatment tailored to meet each patient's unique medical and psychological needs, fostering a supportive environment for recovery. Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Pre-Authorization Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing insurance prior authorizations, verifying patient coverage, and ensuring smooth communication between healthcare providers and insurance companies. Your efforts will directly contribute to delivering seamless care and supporting our patients' path to recovery. Obtains pre-authorization for all levels of care. Communicates with patients regarding authorization status. Follows up with insurance companies and patients as needed. Reviews necessary clinical data and obtains physician clarification when needed as required to obtain pre-authorization.

What You'll Have:

HS graduate, GED, associate's degree, or vocational education. Three years of medical office experience required. One to two years of pre-authorization experience preferred. Experience working in an office setting (beyond an externship) preferred. Medical insurance terminology required. Excellent organization, documentation, time management, customer service, and telephone skills.
