Endo Kids Concierge is a growing concierge pediatric endocrinology practice dedicated to providing exceptional care for children and their families. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Prior Authorization Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis.

Growth Opportunity:

This role has the potential to expand into a larger operations position as our concierge practice continues to grow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes ownership of their work, and has extensive experience navigating insurance prior authorizations. Schedule Part-time Approximately 10 hours per week to start Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 AM-3:00 PM Eastern Opportunity for additional hours as the practice grows Responsibilities Submit and track medical prior authorizations Follow up with insurance companies regarding pending requests Complete appeals and reconsiderations when appropriate Verify insurance benefits and coverage Communicate authorization status with providers, staff, and patients Document all authorization activity accurately in the electronic medical record Maintain organized work queues and ensure timely completion of requests Identify opportunities to improve authorization workflows Qualifications Minimum 2 years of prior authorization experience in a physician practice or specialty clinic Strong understanding of commercial insurance, Medicaid, and pharmacy benefit prior authorization processes Experience with electronic medical records Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable internet connection and private home workspace Preferred Qualifications Pediatric or endocrinology experience Experience with growth hormone, diabetes, obesity medications, or specialty medications Familiarity with CoverMyMeds and specialty pharmacy workflows What We're Looking For We value team members who are: Organized and dependable Proactive problem-solvers Compassionate when interacting with families Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Interested in helping build efficient systems within a growing medical practice Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunity for increased hours and additional responsibilities as the practice expands If you have a strong background in medical prior authorizations and enjoy being part of a patient-focused practice, we would like to hear from you.
