READ THIS PART TWICE BEFORE YOU APPLY

Most people scroll job boards looking for a place to hide for eight hours a day. If that is you, keep scrolling. You will not like it here. We are hiring one Insurance Sales Agent for our North Lauderdale office on State Road 7, and we are not looking for a warm body to fill a chair. We are looking for someone who is tired of being average, tired of being the hardest worker on a team that does not notice, and ready to be measured on what they actually produce. Here is the truth about this job: the door opens, real customers walk in, and they need something they cannot skip — insurance for the car they drive to work. Some of them walk in. The rest you go get — on the phone, every day. You are helping working families in Broward County protect the thing that gets them to their job every morning. Your only job is to be so good at it that they come back next year and bring their brother.

WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO ALL DAY

Greet every single customer who walks through that door like they are the most important person in the building — because they are. Quote auto, home, and commercial insurance and explain the difference between cheap and protected, in plain language. Answer the phone before the third ring, every time. Make your prospecting calls every single day — past customers, expired quotes, referrals, renewals, people who priced you last year and went cheap. The board does not fill itself from walk-ins alone.

Service the book you build:

take the calls, fix the billing problem, handle the endorsement, answer the claim question. Service is not separate from sales here — the customer you take care of in March is the referral you write in July. Follow up on every quote that did not close the same day. Then follow up again. Handle policy changes, payments, renewals, and the paperwork that keeps customers covered. Hit a clear daily and monthly target that you can see on the board — no guessing where you stand. Learn our products until you can explain them without notes.

WHAT WE PAY

Base pay: $18.50 to $23.00 per hour, plus a performance bonus on top of it. Read that again, because it is the whole point. The base is what we pay you for showing up and doing the work right. The bonus is the part you control. Two agents can sit at the same desk, on the same base, and go home with very different checks — the difference is what they did with the eight hours. Your base is set by experience and what you bring on day one. It is the floor, not the ceiling — a licensed producer with real numbers behind them can start higher than the posted range. Full-time. On-site in North Lauderdale. Weekend availability required — Saturdays are one of our biggest days, because that is when working families have time to come in.

THE NUMBER

Let us be direct about what winning looks like, because most job posts will not tell you. A strong agent in this seat writes upwards of $50,000 in premium per month. The number we are building toward in this office is $100,000 per month. That is the standard, not a stretch goal, and it is the reason we are particular about who sits in this chair.

To read it clearly:

that is premium written for the company, not money in your pocket — your pay is the hourly base plus your bonus. And if you are already producing at that level somewhere else, say so in your application and bring your numbers. The posted range is where we start. For a proven producer, the base goes up — that conversation is on the table from day one. That number does not come from luck and it does not come from sitting still. It comes from the walk-in you handle well, the phone you pick up, the prospecting calls you make when nobody is watching, and the customer you serviced so well in March that she sends you her whole family in July. If that number excites you, we should talk this week. If it scares you, believe it — and apply somewhere slower.

STRAIGHT TALK ON BENEFITS

We are not going to dress this up as something it is not. This seat does not come with health, dental, vision, or a 401(k). If a benefits package is what you are shopping for, a big carrier downtown will beat us, and you should go take that job with our blessing.

What it does come with:

Paid holidays. 40 hours of paid vacation. A 90-day probation period — the first 90 days are where you show us who you are, and where we show you we meant every word of this post. If you would rather have a benefits brochure than a seat where what you write shows up in what you earn, we are not your move. If you read that and thought "fine, pay me on what I produce," keep going.

WHO WINS IN THIS OFFICE

You take responsibility. When a number is down, you look at your own activity first. You are coachable. You would rather be corrected today than comfortable and wrong for a year. You like people. Not "tolerate" — like. You are competitive with yourself. You want to beat last month. You show up. On time, ready, every day, without being reminded.

WHO STRUGGLES HERE

People who need to be motivated by someone else every morning. People who blame the price, the traffic, the weather, or the customer. People who go quiet when the phone needs to be picked up. We would rather tell you that now than waste your time and ours.

WHAT YOU NEED

Active Florida 2-20 General Lines (Property & Casualty) license — required. This is a licensed agent seat. If your 2-20 is current, apply today. If you do not hold it, this is not the job for us — we will not waste your time or ours. 18 years or older, high school diploma or GED. English required. Spanish or Haitian Creole is a real edge, not a requirement — many of our customers prefer to do business in their own language, and the agent who can do that writes more business. Se habla español. Nou pale kreyòl Reliable transportation and open weekend availability. Basic computer skills — you will work in our quoting system all day. Sales, retail, restaurant, call center, or customer service experience is a plus. Hunger is not optional. Licensed and new to Fiesta? We train you on our products, our system, and our standard. Licensed with no fire? That does not work here either.

WHY FIESTA

We are in the neighborhoods we serve, not in a tower downtown. Our customers are families, working people, first-generation business owners — many of them buying insurance for the first time in a language that is not their first. That is not a small job. Done right, it is the difference between a family recovering from an accident and a family losing everything. You will be trained, given real targets, told exactly where you stand, and paid for what you do. Do that well here and there is room to move up — we promote people who produce.

HOW TO APPLY

Apply through Indeed. Attach a resume if you have one, and in one or two sentences tell us the last time you beat a goal you set for yourself. We are interviewing now and filling this seat fast. If you read this whole post and got a little fired up, that is the right reaction. Apply today. Se habla español
