Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Insurance Agent based in Orlando, FL. The Licensed Insurance Agent will provide consultative guidance on life and health insurance products, including hospital indemnity and income protection solutions, tailored to the needs of professionals, business owners, and organizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with prospective and existing clients, conducting needs assessments, presenting coverage options, and recommending strategic insurance plans aligned with financial and risk management objectives. The role involves managing a portfolio of clients, processing applications, overseeing policy changes, and ensuring timely follow-up and service resolution. The Licensed Insurance Agent will also collaborate with internal stakeholders and carrier partners, stay current on industry regulations and product offerings, and contribute to business development initiatives through networking and outreach. Qualifications Strong Insurance Sales skills with demonstrated ability to prospect, consult, and close sales in life and health insurance markets. In-depth knowledge of Insurance products and Insurance Brokerage practices, including policy structures, underwriting basics, and regulatory considerations. Foundational understanding of Finance principles related to income protection, risk management, and long-term financial planning. Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate complex insurance concepts clearly and build long-term client relationships. Active state insurance license in life and health (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe). Previous experience as an insurance agent, broker, or related financial services professional is preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and compliance. Ability to work on-site in Orlando, FL and engage with clients in person and via phone or digital channels.
